$200 MILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT AGAINST WASSERMAN-STERN ATTORNEYS AT LAW

A FAMILY HAS FILED A $200 MILLION LAWSUIT AGAINST WASSERMAN-STERN ATTORNEYS AT LAW FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT. THE CASE IF FILED IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT IN THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA. THE FAMILY HAS ALSO FILED ON BEHALF OF ALL OTHER SIMILARLY SITUATED. Over 700 Three Day Notices were issued by Parkmerced Investors Properties, LLC for usurious utility fees and/ or delinquent rent. If you received a Three Day Notice for usurious utility fees and/ or delinquent rent you may be a party to the lawsuit. If you are no longer reside at Parkmerced and received a Three Day Notice you still have rights. Should you decide to speak with a lawyer please, try to find someone who had a good experience with a lawyer and can refer you. Avoid poverty pimp lawyers at all costs!
In my research I came to the conclusion that the Three Day Notices issued for usurious utility fees (water, sewer and garbage) and/ or delinquent rent are defective and in violation of the law. Subsidized tenants who were evicted in San Francisco Superior Court may be a party to a lawsuit filed that is in the U.S. District Court Northern District of California.
Three Day Notice Issue:
In my opinion the utility bills are deceptive and/ or misleading that the “least sophisticated consumer” could not comprehend the billing methodology used. Utility bills at Parkmerced are calculated from a master meter. American Utility Management (AUM) using the Ratio Utility Billing System (RUBS). Tenants at Parkmerced who are billed for usurious utilities pay a percentage of the 3,000 apartments water bill and for 8 acres of open space. Over 700 Three Day Notices were issued by Parkmerced. Most of the notices correlate with the submission and subsequent approval of Parkmerced’s Development Agreement. Not all tenants at Parkmerced pay for utilities.
